Working Partner

Hi Guys. If one partner gets a job before moving out , i'm under the impression the other half cant work for at least a year. Does that mean nothing at all, not even a wee cash in hand ...How do people manage with only one wage. Thanks and Regards garry.

People work for cash. There are all kinds of jobs in farming, construction and hospitality that don't require a work permit.

Hi Garry,
I am trying to get a positive LMO with a plumbing company at the moment and then go on and get my WP (work permit). Our consultant has mentioned, that when I get my WP (which will be tide to that job), my wife can get an open WP and go for any job?

Not sure if this is 100%, but do some research to find out?

Cheers mate, all the best,

If you get a work permit as a plumber, then your spouse would be able to apply for an open work permit as a plumber is skill level B in the NOC.
