Just about everyone in FS in Toronto has an MBA, so far from giving you an advantage it will probably only put you on the same footing as everyone else.
Canada is far more concerned with MBA/Master courses than any european country
Experience will be the big thing, if you have many years with a UK Financial Institution you will be gold-dust, the stuff innovative canadian banks are rolling out now have been mainstream in the UK for years

Ya I share the same opinion with you , an MBA can only be an advantage not a disadvantage
