Winter Olympics - Great job Vancouver!!

I am tired of reading in the UK press about the problems surrounding the Winter Olympics. From what I have seen, Vancouver is doing a very good of it. Why can't we celebrate the good for a change?

Cheers

Martin

I see Britain is doing fantastic in these Olympics.
UK could do with some gold medals being brought home seeing there's no gold left in the coffers since Brown sold it all.
Mind you, them, not winning anything is down to Labours policy of no winners or losers, everybodies equal in schools.
Mmmmmmm, just reminds me why I moved here.
And yes, they have done brilliant with the games despite the lack of snow.

Actually Britain's vast improvement in both Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010 has been down to the Government's continued investment in our athlete's.

I'm guessing you must of been one of those "winners" in school- except at english language of course.

Vast improvement on what ?
Next you'll be telling me the lack of snow is down to global warming.

Not among cradles, no. Some American Idol candidates could be at risk.

Is that who we're taking about? Cheryl is a Reality TV superstar?

Now of course my interest is piqued. But not noticeably.

Pop singer. Nee Tweedie. Married to Ashley Cole (a footballer) but about to be divorced. Famous as a racist and a beard. Speaks oddly.

Tweedle? I'm related to some of them on my mother's side.

I'm mortified.
