It's true though. I look like a bit like brian blessed and when we go out drinking people think we are making a film or something. Although nobody has asked for my autograph and Oink gets all the female attention for some reason.

You need to check your wii power pack for voltage and hertz an if it places nicely with the voltage and hertz in Canada ou just need an adaptor. PS3 is unrestricted as far as I know but Xbox and wii are locked to regions. So the machine should work but you will only be able to use it for UK games

For example on my external hard drive there is a sticker that says 110 to 120v 60hz and also 220-240v 50hz meaning with just an adaptor I can use it in Europe or North America without issue :)

We fetched ours from UK just bought the N American version of the power lead end for $5 from ebay and everything works great. :)

if they dont play UK games your UK Wii wont be able to play North American ones then you are just stuck with your old games only and wont be able to buy new ones.

We brought a uk wii and a uk Xbox with us and both work perfectly with both canadian and uk games....... If it helps they are both about a year old.

When you say your PS3 worked, was it a UK one then? If so how old was it? As I thought that they were regional and was ready to sell mine :( If it was a UK one did Canadian games run on it or just UK ones?

How old is your Canadian PS3?

Trying to work out what I need to sell and what I can bring, if the games work on a Canadian one that would be great... but I'm not holding out much hope :fingerscrossed:
