Wouldn't it still need to support 60 Hz though. I.e. 1080i60, 1080p60. I know the other way around, they don't always support 50i framerate.

Your "other way round" thing is not unusual for North American goods going to Europe. However, the overwhelming majority of Europe-market TVs (and almost certainly the OP's device, although with a model number I'm sure he could google it to be sure) sold in the last dozen years or so have been multi-format PAL/SECAM/NTSC, so will not throw a fit at being asked to display a 60Hz frame rate. Line frequency is irrelevant as the internal electronics will all work off a regulated DC supply anway. Bear in mind that frame rate is not, these days, necessarily the same as screen refresh. You can play 1080p/24, 1080p/25 or 1080p/30 movies on a screen with a 100 or 120Hz refresh, for example.

many appliances have a built in step down converter but the ones that don't would probbaly get an issue.
The built in ones eg mobile phones, etc etc alreday step down the voltage from the UK 240V sockets
