Wildlife

Well today my BF came downstairs to find a black bear in our kitchen  A little yearling who decided to help himself to a bag of floor off our kitchen counter. Not sure how the little sod got in but thankfully Mom was not around.

Can's say that's ever happened in the UK :)

I would really like to but unfortunately we're not allowed pets :(

Wow, wow, wow....what part of Canada are you in? How very exciting, I'm glad mum didn't come though. I thought I was doing well with my wildlife tick list as I've seen a groundhog in my garden this week, but a bear in the kitchen certainly trumps that. I think that's a "proper" reason to use the ghastly word "awesome"

You must be Scottish. A bag of floor? Sounds like something a wee Glesga wiman would utter.

I saw a frog on the weekend. A green one.

We have a raccoon merrily trashing our back lawn some nights.

A couple of years ago a deer walked down our street.

Re: Wildlife

The only bear I've seen on my trips has been a dead headless one on the side of the road. So far I have seen a coyote running across the road, a red dragonfly, a bright green frog, a peculiar looking wasp that looks like it would give a painful sting, a few chipmunks, a red squirrel, some sort of snake, small funnel web spiders (our house seems to be full of them), dear walking through the town, & huge carpenter ants taking away parts of our rotted bathroom floor. The main thing I would like to see is a moose

There are some snails down on the road past our place.

There's a spider that seems to permamntly live outside our lounge window.
It must like heights

Here he is. He had to be darted and relocated, apparently he's just left mum and has been getting into some trouble :D

We had one go through our bins in the car port last autumn, but we haven't had one in the house - yet.

That's an interesting story! Ha ha, I love it how there's always time for a smartphone pic, brilliant!

Where do you live?

It reminds me of this story I read t'other day...
