Its almost been over six months that I received my AOR from CHC London in the IT category. Last year my friends who were IT professionals got the papers within 7-9 months time. Could anybody tell me why is it taking so much time. I think after my file has been created in the system, it has not been opened for review since then, six months is too long to just get a feedback...

If you got your pink card then you have a file number. If your = interview is waived
you will get medicals and then within a few months = you should have a visa. =20

London is a very stable post. You should get something within a few = weeks. If your
interview is waived you should be done within the 7-9 = months. If you need an
interview and reside in Enland, you will have = your interview in another 4-6 months.

At the start of the application, everything was flowing very smoothly. Application sent off Feb 2001. I got my AOR March 2001, was informed of interview March 2001. then everything stopped.

Its now been 6 months that I was informed that I would need an interview, and still I have had no dates etc. I have asked my attorney if he could find out what is taken so long. Its now been 49 days since my attorney has applied for my Caips notes. Still no news. When I contacted my attorney to find out what is going on, I was informed that its just the post, due to what happened in NY.

I can understand a week or so but this is just getting silly.
I live in the UK. I was born in the UK I have sent my application to London, I have 77 points. yes I know, no MBA. I understand that I need an interview but when. what is going on with the system???

aaaaarrrrr that got that all off of my chest..

Yes, I think everybody is complaining the long time delay of the process this year. I
myself am thinking of withdraw the application if my application fee could be
refunded! What is going on in the offices?

Even though on the surface you seem to have a decent case there may be a = question
or two. Perhaps the job letters were not clear on duties. = Perhaps the titles used
for occupation do not fit nicely. There could = be a number of things. And when your
interview is held it may only last = a few minutes to clear it up.

As for time, London is claiming 12 months for local cases. I would = guess that
sometime in the next few weeks you should get your interview = date.
