Where is the market??

I live close to surrey and desperately searching for a market, like the ones in England, where u can buy fruits, vege and meat etc from individual vendors under one roof. Does anyone know??

I'm sure some of the posters in the Greater Vancouver Area will be able to give you some information. However, just for starters, here is the website of the BC Association of Farmers' Markets.

I would definitely go with the farmers' markets. Granville Island provides all that you ask for but it's a hike from Surrey and it's not the cheapest (although a lot of their veg is cheaper than IGA!). There's Lonsdale Quay on the North Shore but that's well out your way.

I haven't come across anything else whilst living in Van. What about White Rock?
