I'm 33, applied just before my 32nd birthday. Will still be 33 (with a month to spare) when I land.

Hehehe...no, not at all! :D What I define as old, is always an age at least 4-5 years above my own. :p

My mum asked if I was planning to stay in Canada the rest of my life, and I told her I didn't think I'd stay to grow old there. She wanted to know what I meant by 'old', and I told her "around 50". *grin* She's past 60, and wasn't too happy with my answer. :p

You are as old as you feel. If you feel 80 then don't move, if you feel 37 then go for it, we were 38 when we moved

That is an interesting quote.

If I feel someone younger than me - apart from the slap in the face does that make me feel that age??? if my wife notices the red mark on my face I am sure I will feel a lot older :D

30 when I originally applied (spousal sponsorship)

31 when I landed in Vancouver and got PR status.

41 when I finally used it and moved here.
