A perfect combination

Well I wasn't only given a G1 and hadn't been driving for two years. This was in Septemeber. They gave me a full license.

We're in Ontario, perhaps it's different here.

No Frenchmen, but there may be some French speaking Vietnamese.

I find many of the names round here odd in a PC country. Winnipeg has a Cecil Rhodes School, and a General Wolfe one...probably more odd choices besides.

I'd like alcohol in supermarkets, free prescriptions for under 18s, and whatever tarrif it is that makes butter cost 3 times as much as it should to be scrapped.

I got given the G2 in Ontario with 9mths UK driving. Manitoba swapped that G2 in turn for a full Manitoban license despite having a graduated program themselves. I thought it was an error and kept quiet as the lady signed the forms, but it seems to be policy as I've since met others who have also been "upgraded" to proper drivers

They should be included in the price, not added afterward.

I would put an end to the ridiculous prejudice against foreign qualifications and foreign experience. They should open up the job market to immigrants and allow them to use their skills properly instead of dooming them to minimum wage crap and driving taxi's. End of rant.

It used to be that way with the tax the GST replaced.

One major chain tried to operate that way after GST was introduced (Woolco) and it was an abysmal failure.

People couldn't understand the prices.

Cheers

Hello!!!

How are you? I hope things are better for you.
I'm good, largely because I'm returning to England very soon.
To say I'm excited is an understatement!

Upon our return we plan to hire a car and drive through the Yorkshire Dales, perhaps staying the night at a lovely country pub somewhere!
