What to do in Calgary & Nova Scotia?????
 

Sorry for the rubbish title, we are coming over in 3 weeks time for 8 days to be divided between Calgary & Halifax.

Other than speaking to new colleagues at work and catching up with a realtor, we would like to squeeze in a brief sight-seeing visit (a day in each).

Can anyone recommend a must see for us? as time is limited and our decision is based on which wows us the most I thought someone on here may help!

Can't help you with Halifax.

My website has a suggested walk through downtown Calgary.

If you feel like popping up to the mountains, Banff is between 1.5 hours and 2 hours west of Calgary on the TransCanada Highway (depending on your starting point in Calgary).

The weather is unseasonably mild at the moment, but a cold front is supposed to be moving in on Wednesday, January 10th. That is way too far ahead of your visit to be of any relevance whatsoever. If there's one thing you need to learn about Calgary's weather, it's the fact that it can change by tens of degrees within an hour (and it also can defy the weather forecast).

My Husband is coming out on Sunday and is packing as we speak, I follow 2 weeks later so at least he can give me a little idea of what to pack....everything by the sound of it!
