Have to say that its divine here!
And feel the need to rave about Candaian Affair and Thomas Cook but will restrain myself to say that the flight was nice and the service was great. Halifax Airport is lovely with a water feature of all things, makes nice change to Gatwick.

The bugs are plentiful I have discovered and we have to use bug spray everytime we venture out or get bitten. And the ants are large but hell, I can swop the insects for the chavs!

The people are SO friendly and want to talk to us when they hear our Brititsh accents, we went and hung out at a lake beach yesterday and met lovely people. The scenery was beautiful.... I just want to up sticks and be here forever already.
Going to see some houses today!:D

oh, no worries there. We are well on our way into a scheduled and much planned trip, seen some houses, met some people, got schools to attend etc etc, more people to see, some interviews......
Its an emotional journey for us too though, its got to feel right, and so far, it does! - For all of us I might add, thank God for that!

Glad to hear you're all having a fab time & all like NS what you've seen so far :)

Will you get chance to go to Cape Breton?, it's lovely there - recommend whale watching from Cheticamp with 'Whale Cruisers' - a father & son team who really look after you (we were supplied with warm coats & gloves if we wanted) & are very friendly & informative - there's always next time if you run out of time ;)
