Hello and welcome to BE. Start by reading the WIKI section. You'll find it on the blue bar above. Fourth tab from the left. There are some 50 ways to emigrate and you need to find the one that applies to you. Do you have a skill or trade that would qualify you ? When you have had a good read come back with specific questions and someone will be happy to assist you. Good luck.

Yep, what he said. ^^^^^

Start reading the Wiki to figure out your likely visa route and lots of other info about life in Canada, then shout with any questions. Have you visited Canada before?

Best of luck and welcome to BE.

You wouldn't get a LMO/TWP to train in anything, you'd need to be fully qualified. This may be useful reading - http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Truck_Driving_in_Canada

What do you and your partner do now, is it something that would get you over to Canada now and then you could re-train as a trucker once you've got PR maybe?

Alternatively, if you want to change your career now, then you'd need to do so in the UK and then think about Canada in a few years time when you've got some experience.

HTH, good luck.
