Waiting time?
Am I right that it takes min 3 years to process an application for a visa (SW, London)? Has it always been that long? Is it ever going to be reduced?

No it used to be shorter but there is a backlog and additional app's were put back in the system about 18 months ago due to a legal thingy.
No unless CIC catch up.
