. I "spoke" on line with their customer service and they couldn't figure it out. The transaction just gets canceled automatically.

We are using Skype a lot at home. I have bought some Skypeout minutes twice already with my canadian Visa with no problem.
The transaction was done in minutes and the account was updated in less than 5 minutes.
The voice is generally very good (used from Canada to France,UK and Australia)
If you don't like to sit in front of the computer there is a box that you can buy to connect your normal phone as well as the computer. After that you can make and receive calls with your phone.
The company that makes it is Actiontec in the US

The only problem is that at the moment they won't ship to Canada
