Except that in some Overseas Territories, it's possible to be a British overseas territories citizen (connected with that territory) and not be a belonger - or vice versa.

What I can never understand is why the UK doesn't negotiate some sort of agreement with the US like the Australians did to have a specific work visa for British citizens. No doubt the US would agree to it, the UK just can't seem to be bothered. Canadians and Mexicans have one too, through NAFTA.

The EU would forbid it, so won't happen while still an EU member.
