HELP

Does anyone know where I can get a VCR which plays UK PAL videos? I bought one here but my videos don't work.

Apparently Canadian/US VHS is different to the UK VHS:blink:

In the US and Canada VCRs use NTSC for recording and NTSC tapes. UK and most of Europe (bloomin French) use PAL. It's possible to find a PAL VCR in the UK that also plays NTSC but outputs in PAL. It should be possible to find a VCR in Canada that outputs standard NTSC to the TV but also converts and reads PAL tapes. I've never looked for one as I've not used a VCR for about 4 years, but they should exist.

Hi there,

Just joined and posted stuff for sale. Then I saw your query. I have a bunch of stuff for sale, just look on the forums for the PAL format goods on offer; I need to sell in order to want to buy new football and rugby jerseys!
