I am presently living in US for about 9 months, and have
applied for canada immigration in independent category.
I lived in 3 different states of the USA for 3 months,5 months and 2 months respectively,so
do I need to get police clearence from each of the states
along with the FBI clearence? Please reply

Hi,
It is better if you call the buffalo consulate. Normaly you have to show a police clearance certificate of the state in which you have stayed for a period of 6 months or longer.

You do not have to supply individual state clearances if you are applying through
Buffalo as an independent. You only need to supply an FBI clearance and a clearance
for any countries that they list in their instructions.
