Re: Which vehicle
You have to admit Grah has a point,
quick search of tin ter net shows a 1997 Sebring convertible 2.5l 190,000kms and a Ford Explorer 4.0l 1995 148,000kms both in Calgary area with $575  change out of 15,000 |
Re: Which vehicle
At least in AB you dont have so much sales tax to factor on top:)[/QUOTE]
So, let me get this straight: is it possible to nip across the border from BC to AB, buy a car and save 7% on PST and drive it back to our home in Mission? Sid |

Sid The only way to do it is if you are moving from Alberta to BC and said vehicle is part of your possessions.

I have looked at a number of Vans or caravans as they are called in Canada on the auto trader site but only seem to find 7 seater's with 2 seats in the middle and a couch 3 seater in the back which is not suitable for us.
If anyone knows what i mean by the seating arrangements of the UK Ford Galaxy and can recommend something similar in Canada it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Isn't the best thing the Chrysler Grand Voyager that actually won the best Large MPV UK What Car Awards here in 2006, that's no mean feat as all the Manufacturers are in the MPV market now. I have actually found the website for you and in Canada its called the Chrysler "Town & Country", only available in a 3.8l V6 engine, so no economical diesels like in the UK ! Link is http://www.chrysler.ca/en/town_country/ It's not cheap for a Brand New one but they have made an MPV for a few years now and there may be a few used ones around on Automart.ca |
