Vancouver Vs Perth

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of living in both Vancouver and in Perth, Australia ? It's just that we've now visited, and loved, both and are having great difficulty in deciding which city/country would be the best to move to.

Any comments would be welcome.

Your dilemma is quite unfounded... a numer of questions you'll have to ask
yourself:
1. Do you prefer a city that has a neighbourhood or is stuck in between an
ocean and a desert?
2. Do you enjoy the vicinity of a foreign country or you like to live
somewhere isolated?
3. Have you done your job search? What does it tell you?
4. Do you love mountains? For if you do, you can forget Perth...
5. Do you like to live with the threat of major draught and water shortages
alomost every year? Or do you like plentiful rivers, and pine trees and
clear springs?

I hope this shall make your decision easier> Good Luck!

Is your name really Ian Curtis or you are just a fan of Joy Division ?
I had the same dilemma, but Canada has several advanteges: bigger, more diversified, close to US, affordable housing and education.
