Vancouver bound...nervous
Hi
Just wanted to post - maybe it will start to seem real! My husband has been offered a job (he's a plumber) and is due to start before the end of the year. I should follow a month or two afterwards - once the house is rented, car is sold etc. We have 1 yr work permits. Just wanted to say hello to all you ex-pats :) . I don't quite know where to start with the questions, but any advice for an anxious Londoner would be most welcome! Ps. we are in our early 30's, no children as yet |

Re: Vancouver bound...nervous
Welcome Poppy.
It always helps me to think of it as a big adventure. To experience new and exciting things and to try a different way of life for a while. Not everyone gets such a great opportunity, so go for it, make the most of it and have a lovely time !!!! I haven't yet been out to Vancouver, but hope to next yr. Hubby has though with work and found it stunningly beautiful. The Ocean, the Mountains...............oh, aah, ooo. |
Re: Vancouver bound...nervous
Hi Poppy, big congrats to you both, i guess you must be really excited, we're just starting the long haul of the emmigration trail, and aim to end up on the island around Black Creek area (family)
Keep us informed how things are going, would love to hear from you both. Andy |
