hi,can anyone advise on best providers for cell,tv,internet etc in vancouver...we use rogers for everything at the moment.....but not really happy with them.....was keen on a provider that might have best HD tv channel selection etc..........any thoughts would be great...cheers....

Hi Howard I suggest Shouting very loud that should take care of the landline and cell requirement as for the internet and TV perhaps take up puppet theatre?

Having read other threads on the subject it seems that the lumped package like you are on is the cheapest deal but if money is no object Virgin do a really good cell deal from what I can see.

We're very content with Shaw in Vancouver, who do a good range of internet/TV/digital phone bundles (the latter being well worth while if you call the UK a lot; depending on the package you either get 1000 free international minutes or, on the cheaper ones, a standard 4c/min rate).

We use Virgin for their cell phones, if you just talk/text they're hard to beat on pay-as-you-go with no contract or tie in (I average about $20-$30 a month in total).

There are two choices for TV: Shaw cable or Bell Satellite.

There are two choices for home phone and internet: Shaw Cable or Telus.

I use Shaw and bundle TV, phone and broadband internet. About $130 a month including taxes without adding HD channels.
