Vacuums

Hi

Did a search on "vacuums" found that everyone recommended the Dyson, is there any other vacuum out there that even comes close? I have been looking at Blissell, dirt Devil, any recommendations?

Sorry -no good experiences with Dyson - even bought a second one thinking it was just a 'me' problem. :(

Sad topic really (just how white is your washing?!) but I love my Sebo - not hugely common in UK - but expensive and sold in 'better' stores.
Anyone ever heard of these in Canada ? Can't recommend them highly enough !! :) One of the only times a salesman has talked me into a much higher priced product and I have not regretted it at all ... will miss it if they do not exist over there !!

Nope.

If you have that sort of money to blow on a vacuum, Dysons the way to go.

I am happy to own the cheapest piece of crap available. A little canister job from Sears. Then again, we don't have any carpets in our house.

One of what? DD, teen, dog or cat? If you are after another teen, I'll do you a good deal on mine. Ten grand max. I can't afford any more than that.

LOL :D

I have just sold my beloved 6-month old Dyson for £90. My previous Dyson lasted 12 years until it got a bit wobbly. I am definitely investing in another Dyson when I reach NS. :D

Sebo. I was very sorry to leave mine in the UK, didn't realise you could get them here too until Trish told me. We're on our 2nd rubbish one here, when it goes, I'll be getting another Sebo.

SEBO for me too. I had a Dyson in the UK and I liked it but I wouldn't have said it was that great. Course it was in great demand when I had to sell it.....I should have auctioned it off.

I left my Dyson back in the UK. Stopped sucking up properly, followed all the instructions to sort it out, ordered a replacement hose. No better. My mom swears by them but she has to admit she is on her 4th!!!!

I now have a very cheap Dirt devil which is fine, much better than my Dyson was. (the dyson was great at the begining but with time became crap-but i suspect my tiler may have used it suck up lots of tile cutting dust-will never know!)

Sebos are wonderful and beat a Dyson hands down. You can get them here they are very pricey but as you can replace the parts they never wear out so might be worth the money.

they even have a website http://www.sebocanada.ca/
