US ESTA application - is PR card 'for travel'?
We're going on a cruise in a few weeks and I'm applying for US ETSA visas. I don't remember noticing the last time I did this but these days it asks if I've ever been issued a passport or national identity card for travel by any other country. Does my permanent resident card count as one of these? I know the US can be really picky when it comes to crossing borders and I don't want to make a mistake!

A PR card is not a travel document. It is a card issued to PR's of Canada to use in conjunction with a passport to show proof of status when travelling back to Canada by a commercial carrier.

Thanks! That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure :-)
