That's a mildly interesting article but there's something amiss with the salary chart. A household of two people, each earning $120,000 could not buy a house in K-W, never mind in Toronto. Computer people do buy houses because they get paid more than that. The chart is probably correct for Regina or Vancouver.

As it goes, this week I've been looking at PMs (as well as other possible recruits). Decent PM candidates are a little over $90/hr. Assuming they have to kick a few dollars to a pimp, the individual ends up with 260*8*90 = $187,200. That's a fair bit over the number on the chart.

I did get a giggle out of Toronto having the best weather in Canada after Vancouver. That's like having the second least worst broken leg.

Indeed, I've heard this a lot!

Very much so about Linkedin. I've been trauling through job postings in the past week, looking at the correlation between number of job posting / number of candidates applying for the role.
