You are in a similar position to me. I transferred mine to Edward Jones in 2011. It's not too bad with them but the fees are a bit high and I'd prefer to have control over it in my own online brokerage account. My understanding is that 10 years after the original transfer date any payments are no longer reportable back to UK HMRC. So I think I'll attempt a transfer to a LIRA with XYZ in 2021.
