We have just given up worrying about it and we don't ever bother checking e-client.....it's simply a waste of time and effort.

Manyana, or whatever !

Come the time for some correspondence from "Sleepy Hollow" we'll be ready.

I don't know how you can tell the month they're on?
The depressing thing I noticed just recently is the 30% "processed by" time has gone up from 13 months to 16 months.
If you're half French you could apply through Paris and get an answer in 5 months!
Why our special treatment?
I blame the "special relationship" of Bush 'n' Blair!

One of the problems with the UK embassy is we also do visas for other countries which push the processing time stats up. If you are from UK it should take anything from 12-18 months.

Apparently people with recent AORs from London are being given a waiting time of 21 months...

Makes me feel glad not to be applying to there now...

The low pass mark of 67 may be part of the reason for this increasing backlog.

This is very true Hawkeye and people from places other than the UK are more prone to a much slower process. The list of countries that London process is very long but the fact seems to remain that the pile appears to be getting higher whereas Paris is staying the same!
You did make me feel better in the hope our file is perhaps now half way up the pile and all the extas are underneath :)
Wish we were given a nunber instead of sitting in the "in processing" bin. We might be able to plan just a little!!! Hey Ho!
