UK clocks change this weekend

The clocks change this coming weekend in the UK while Canada waits another week.

For those doing things based on UK time, like those of us watching footie, we'll be an hour less behind for a week.

Many years ago, 1992, I left London to return to Montreal. It was in the spring. I was on the tube to the airport when someone asked me the time. I responded. The guy next to me corrected me. It then dawned on me that the clocks had just gone forward. I got to the airport in a panic with barely enough time to make the charter flight.

Why the UK and north America can't get into sync I will never know.

It would be wonderful to have a subway or rail line direct to Pearson from Union station in Toronto.

We used to change the same weekends as the UK if I remember correctly, but changed to be in sync with the U.S.
