I came to Chicago as an undergraduate student on an F-1 visa. I am now a graduate student here with a change of status and a new I-20. I meet all the points requirements for Canadian immigration, however I am unsure whether I can apply from Buffalo, or if I have to do so from my home country. The visa that I first entered the US on has since expired, but my status here is still legal, as a new I-20 was issued, and a change of status executed. If applying to Buffalo, what do I need to send as far as US status is concerned?

You can apply through Buffalo but be sure you will be in the USA for some time to
come while your case is processed, or that you can return for an interview if
required. Jim humphries
