Trucking in Canada

Hi everyone , im currently living in Northern Ireland working full time as a truck driver. I really would like to do this same job in Canada, even on a temporary basis to see if I like it over there. I'v decided that the best thing to do in order to start researching this is to head to Canada for a holiday, and talk to some firms / agencies or even trucking unions, and also to check Canada out as i have never been. My question is, where would you guys reccomend to go to? Is there such a place as a "trucking capital"? Or even somewhere that would be nice to live?
Any help much appreciated , thanks , Kieron.
