If this is what I had for a colonoscopy, it was rather fun.

Felt fine after except for walking home when I kept veering off to the side like a supermarket cart with a faulty wheel.

Which bit was fun?

I imagine you would walk a bit funny after a colonoscopy.

The feeling

As for the colonoscopy, I was waiting for them to start and it was already done.

I've heard that before somewhere. Wife, possibly.

Have had Lorazepam for laser eye surgery. Same class of drugs (benzo). Worked a treat as I was anxious as hell anticipating someone mucking about with my eyeballs! Felt incredibly chilled out within about 20 minutes, effect lasted a good portion of the day and I slept it off once home.

I also had benzos before laser eye surgery. I wasn't particularly anxious about it but was casually offered them and thought why the heck not. Super chilled throughout and few hours after.

If you have sublingual then prob 15 mins to take off, up to an hour orally. Really they should have prescribed 2 so you could do a trial run.

I've had triazolam twice now because I have the worst fear of dentists ever - seriously, whenever I even think about going to the dentist I start crying out of fear!

It is good if your nervous and because of the amnesiac effect it feels like the procedure takes 5 minutes. I wouldn't be able to go to the dentist without it! Apparently last time I was at the dentists and had taken some I was sitting in the chair singing a Katy Perry song to myself lol

Not exactly looking forward to it.
I had laser sugery for open angle glaucoma. It wasn't horrendous but still not much fun. No sedation given

Thanks. I have heard its not terrible; its just I am very squeamish when it comes to eyes. The measuring test was bad enough!

Ah, I have had contact lenses and am used to eye stuff so maybe had an advantage there.

Well, that worked!

The three hours I spent in the chair whizzed by. I knew what he was doing but I didn't care. It made his life easier because he could take his time to work better without interruptions. The only time I reacted was when the assistant accidentally blasted the air down my throat.

My next appointment is in two weeks. He wrote the prescription without being asked.

Do you think I could get a prescription to lessen the pain of sitting through certain meetings at work?
