Transferwise CAD to GBP
 

Ages ago there was a big thread about transferring money and a lot of discussion about transfer wise - I've done a scroll back and search but can't find it so figured I'd start another.

Transferwise are now doing direct cad-gbp (they weren't previously and then did with lots of extra steps and costs). I used it last week for the first cad-Gbp transfer and got a decent rate/fees and money left my cad account on Wednesday and received as cleared funds in the uk account on Friday.

We have used other brokers previously and it would take just under a week for cleared funds so an improvement from our experience.

Just thought this could be useful information for anyone who is/was researching it.
