Someone here, (DBD? maybe?) recommended a place to rent mobility "scooters" when I had a similar conundrum about visiting Toronto with someone who couldn't walk too far.

I'll try & find the reference; it was a life saver.

I did suggest the place where we rented a scooter for my mother but I don't remember the name of it now. It was around Cabbagetown, iirc.

Thanks . I was coming back to edit my post as I found the original reference. Unfortunately, the link no longer seems to work . Yes, it was Cabbagetown-ish.

Oh again thanks but no. We rented a buggy last year but she said it rattled her about too much. I'm wondering about a walker frame with a built in seat. I'll check with her and see.
