HI
We landed in Oakville (nr Toronto) last Tuesday and had already secured a great house to rent using a local realitor that we had been recommended, he did a fantastic job and actually went to the house and took LOADS of photos for us to view before we settled on one. We got the keys last week and was not dissappointed.
Send me a PM if you want his details
thanks

Gym and cafe are easy done but where do you have to be to get picked up for work?

Check out Craigslist for shared accomodation ads.
Toronto is great, you'll have a good time.

Good luck.

Furnished rooms are few and far between. Most places are rented in and around the city unfurnished. In general, furnished tends to be much more expensive or very high end. You might want to try looking for unfurnished and then buy a few sticks of furniture when you get here to get you by as you will find this much more cost effective.

Good luck

Seems like a Canadian trait. Best adjust expectations to accommodate.
