Campervans are really cool but I wouldn't want to live in one, especially in a Canadian winter. Congratulations on your wedding.

I think:

- clairemarie70 got married in Vegas but it's not relevant

- her kids went to visit their father in Ontario and decided to stay

- clairmarie70 now intends to move to Ontario with her husband to be near the children

- the husband thinks they can live in a trailer but clairmarie70 fears freezing to death and being cramped on account of her two slobbery dogs

- there's a third dog but it's not going to Ontario for reasons unknown (or perhaps it is but it's not slobbery, or perhaps it is but it's not going to live in the trailer)

- they don't have the money to drive to Ontario to have a look

So, what I want to know is, where in Ontario? I might spend the winter in a caravan if it was in the Eaton Centre but in the Soo? Forget it.

oh ok.

Well staying in a camper isn't ideal as DBD (kindly) says in some places. But it won't be forever and the life of an expat does sometimes mean living in places temporarily until you get sorted.

Re the slobbery dogs???? Leave em outside until its too cold.

I did 6 months of mornings in a trailer - and once heated up it was okay, though not sure whether I could do actually LIVING in one for the winter.

I think you're entirely on the wrong track.

The dogs got slobbered in Las Vegas.

Clairmarie70 is thinking of shacking up in a caravan (in the Eaton Centre) for the winter because her husband wants to run off with the kids.

Does this help?

It was Saturday morning children's television in the UK in the 1970s. The BBC had Swap Shop but it wasn't as good.
