Once you've done the medical it shouldn't be too long at all, we had to send our passports to the London High Comission about a month after doing the medical

Hi Kingnothing,

it has been more than six months since I did medicals, and 3 mts since paying the ROLF. has not been any news yet, I think they must be conducting background checks, which usually takes between 6 & 8 mts (from what i gather).
In my case I guess its due to my indian background check, which maybe taking longer. though i thought it would not take that long, as i was resident in the uk, last 5 or so years.

I submitted my appln. in 2001(Jun) hence nearing almost 2yrs now!! isn't that some test :)

regards

becan
