I admit that I have never had a "bad" coffee in Timmy's. I've also never had a good one. It's insipid. Mediocre. Weak.

I haven't been into a TH for a while. Mainly because we haven't done a trip on the 401 for a while and it's easier for me to find a toilet somewhere else.

No churchill....... :D

I was in victoria and have a friend who runs a TH here and even with the long line-ups I have seen coffee dumped down the sink - I was amazed and ask my friend about it....and that's what he said....go figure! ;)

Exactly my point! Insipid, weak, mediocre and my hubby who has had more doughnuts than I (people bring them to his work) says they always seem a be stale. I suppose it could be a bit like marmite - love it or hate it!

Remember, Krispy Cream crashed and burned when they tried to expand into Canada.

Good summary. It's a "Blue Collar" place so it won't appeal to the status concious yuppies who like their high priced designer coffees to go with their BMW's etc.

Now, if Timmys did Marmite donuts, or bagels........

Marmbits, perhaps.

Doesn't excuse the coffee, though.

Yes, I really miss the Brit equivelent. A nice greasy van or trailer parked in a lay-by selling great Nescafe instant. Not to mention the great bacon (semi cooked) and a stale bap trying to pass itself off as a Bacon Roll!!!

Based on the prices of Starbucks etc ( I know their coffee is good) but at £2.75 for a large, I will save thousands a year!

Based on that reason only, I could financially justify moving to Canada! :) :D
