Tickets for Emigrate 2004 in Esher, UK?
Sorry if this has been discussed to death, but I've just done a forum search and not come up with any hits of relevance.
Do I need to get tickets in advance for this event or can you pay on the door? I've Googled it extensively, but only ever seem to get results for the individual participant companies, not the event itself. Any response appreciated, thanks, Iain |

Hello there, They seem to be painting a pretty picture of things they think is going on here in canada, but as we all know, things are not always as they seem. It says there on their magazine issue for Feb that quebec needs people, but at the same time, we over here are hearing in the news that quebec is rejecting a lot of PR visas, so believe who you want. Like i always say to people, its worth coming here yourself to see how things are, and then take it from there. They were quick on their website to point out they have a magazine for subscription that cost almost 19 quid. I will go there to see what they have to say, and then do my own investigations if i were you. That is just my take on that. Good luck |

Cheers, Iain Once the application is in the system, there is nothing a lawyer/agent can do to speed it up. If you are not sure how to fill out the forms, just get someone else to look over it for you, that should not cost you much. Go to the fair to get some ideas, don't get sucked into forking out a lot of money that you are going to need when you come over finally. Good luck |
Thanks s1lv3rsh4dow. However fear not, we've done plenty of research and know a few who've already hopped over the pond.
We're doing our own applications based upon "expensive" examples of those who've got companies to compile them previously. Currently, I'm waiting on a police check response from the mounties and that's about it. Hopefully the seminars at the Emigrate show will provide some useful pointers to things we've not thought of yet, but I don't intend on handing over any money to anyone! Cheers, Iain |
The emmigrate show in Sandown is pretty good and covers a lot of areas. The talks that they do are pretty good themselves.
Canada news is a pretty good source of info as well and I would recommend it on top of the normal research, and paying 19 quid for a year for the subscription is not that bad considering who much other cash you have to fork out to emmigrate. Looks good on your application as well. |
