How about New Glasgow? I saw comments on another thread. Is there a part that's convenient for non drivers? Somewhere where it's easy to cycle/walk/bus to shops etc

Unbelievably, there is no bus service in New Glasgow

Apparently it was stopped a few years ago due to lack of use by the public. With fuel prices the way they are I am sure many people would use the service now.

Thanks for the info. It actually looks compact enough for that to be less of a problem for the non driver. Cycling looks easy enough, unless it's hilly and occasional taxis might be okay.
