Is there any way of getting your visa in a shorter time, e.g. the higher the points, the quicker the processing time?

I was suprised to see you are quoting up to 5 years; we have been told by our solicitor it will take up to 18 months as we are applying via Buffelo or is he BS us?

The "five years" thing, I guess, refers to London. Buffalo may well be shorter.

The feedback we receive from people 'still in the UK' tells a story. The lengthy waiting lists make them just as eager to get on with the process & jump the pond.
