Tax return- UK rental property question
Doing our tax return.
WE still have our UK property which is currently let through a management agent- a professional letting company. They charge commision and some other fees for this service. Do their fees and comissions go in the 'Management and administration' section or the 'professional fees section'? Things like the annual gas test certificate, do they go in 'maintenance and repair' or under 'professional fees'. Gryphea |

Gryphea The agents fees will go in the management and administration and the gas test certificate cost under repairs and maintenance. I don't think it is that important if you put them in different categories. As long as the expenses you claim are all reasonable and allowable you'll be OK. |
