tax return
 
We moved back after only being in canada for 8 months, do i fill in a tax return for canada, and can i do it online?

You only need to file a tax return if you owe tax. You can't file online but you can use an online service like QuickTaxWeb to calculate what you owe, if anything. (Don't forget to protrate the personal amount by 8/12th)s.

If you intend to go back to Canada in the future it is worth filing returns even if they are zero. If not then why bother?

your first one can not be done on line. I just did my first and has to be done on paper only. i would get someone like H & R block to do it for you. they did it for a friend of mine in your situation
