Taking Electric Items?

Hi everyone,

Sorry if anyone has asked this question but couldn't find any info on it.

We were told at the immigration show this month that you can take electric items with you and get them. Does anyone know if this is poss and how they work through adaptor plug or convert them?

Thanks

Re: Taking Electric Items?

Most appliances will need a voltage convertor, some electronic goods are compatible with 110V canadian voltage. Large wattage appliances such as washing machines kettles etc are not worth taking as the convertors for these appliances are large and expensive.

If do a search for posts there have been many on this subject

Regards

Steve

Thanks Steve,

I have followed the tread and seen all the info on the subject. Think will be leaving them at home not really worth taking the bigger items that need to be plugged in all the time.
