SW Visa newbie

Hi all, My Wife and I have applied for a SW visa 18 months ago, to settle in Burlington Ontario.

I'm a national newspaper printer and also a qualified motor mechanic, my wife works for a major bank HQ in Canary wharf.

I know in the information on the Canada embassy site it can take upto 48 months to complete, is that interview, medical through to acceptence (SP).??

We have applied ourselves (not through an agency)

Would it take all of 48 months or can it be sooner.

Thanks for takin time out to read a newbie thread.

Ok what ya drinkin at ther virtual bar..drinks on me

Thankyou Toddy

Toddy,

If you haven't yet than please read the wiki

This wiki and everything in it. Once you have you still have questions but at least you know a fair bit more than you did when you started and none of the oldies here have to sit and think "oh, here we go again".
