Maybe look at Calgary or Toronto where it's slightly cheaper to live lol
Thanks. Calgary is a possibility although I would need to look into it further and we have lived in Toronto before. Toronto seems like the easier option because we know our way around, it has travel links to pretty much everywhere and the employment market there is huge but my girlfriend is still lukewarm on the idea of living there again.

Theres a great doddy day care in Truro and one that people rave about in Halifax, one that they rave about in Dartmouth and one or two in Sackville (if that helps) these are raves of my doggy friends at work.

There is one in "the corridor" Shunenacadie down to Enfield called Doggy styles. According to the FB group "East Hants wants to Know" many people do not care for it (I am being selective in my wording here) so therefore I think they may have to take the dogs either down the 102 to the Halifax end or up it to the Truro end, depending on where they work.
Many people now live in that area and work there or in Halifax or Truro so that could be a good option for a spot... or Hammonds Plains, Timberlea, Beechville area.

Good luck in your decisions

Yes, a catchy name..maybe that what it should be called?

Jokes aside, I do realise that there are quite a few kennels around already, many quite close together. It could be there are lot some of demand of course but competition at the same time!

So far, from my experiences and impression of the realtors, I seriously I should retrain and get a license as a realtor instead! The response I get from them is shocking! Granted they probably have to deal with alots of time wasters but seriously consider how quite the market it is especially the time of year, if I'm an agent I'll do anything for a potential sale! First, it took 2-3 days for a reply then it is a single sentence reply with no interest in finding more about us even though we said we're mortage approved and coming over to buy next month! Maybe I'm just unlucky but just got a feeling that the few we dealt with so far didn't seem to bother much! maybe because I'm also in a high pressure sales role here, I expect the same service...guess they may have a different page of life then us here?

I just googled Peggys Cove and my god... what a beautiful place! If I knew I could get work in a place like that I'd be there in a shot.

Troublesome for septic systems, Peggy's Cove, nowhere is truly paradise.
