Social Service Jobs in Canada
Hello again all,
Hopefully this question will be specific enough to get some specific answers I have worked in Social Services in the US dealing with abused and negleted children for fifteen years with a local government agency. I have developed and implemented social programs/groups and a variety of community projects. Is there anyone out there who has relocated to Canada had was successful in finding a Social Services job involving children in some capacity within a couple of years?
Thank you to all!
Anna

You need a minimum of a BSW to work in Child Protection and some Child Welfare courses, (First Nations ones in BC) , but I suspect you could get an equivalency for the new courses with the amount of experience you have. They won't budge on the degree requirement though. P.M. me for further details.
