But you get lobsters out where you are so it makes up for it, right? |

The gig is only six block away so can comfortably stroll there. Depending on the level of alcohol consumption usually a cab is required for the return trip. For me, it's one of the best things about Vancouver. Excellent British bands play here a lot. The atmosphere is most often a little staid as opposed to back home but still a good night out on the cheap and you don't have to go traipsing all round London. The three venues I go to are within a couple of blocks of each other.

Re: Soap
mmm I love Dove soap too, and although it was a bit of a silly question to ask - a piece of useless info will be that you don't get the spray on deodourants like you do in the UK. The majority are the stick ones - and the Dove one is in my opinion by far and away the best.
So you can be Doved all around and smell gorgeous! |

woah! Your a bit nutty!......been drinkin in the afternoon again:beer:? Remind me not to move into the same neighbourhood you live in. On the same subject but a different slant, I find it really odd that people actually go out of their way to be offensive nowadays. I mean really, if you thought my question was silly, just don't respond. The fact that you actually felt the need to respond in a negative way to a genuine question on a messageboard (no matter how silly) shows a complete lack of intelligence on your part. I bet at least half of the questions on this messageboard could be answered by other sources both online and in a library, but sometimes it's just nice to join a community and feel part of something.
"Do they eat food in Canada" "It is true that Canada has portaloos?" "I heard that Canada now has Salt and Vinegar Crisps, is this true?". You get my point. |

Yes it is nice to join a community and feel part of something BUT if we all posted random and silly (your words) posts, this site would be...well crap. Who would want to log on everyday and read posts such as :
