guys,

a quick update on our landing exp.

We landed last night at 1600 local time, immigration was a simple and pleasant experience with all our docs being checked and signed in less than 20 minutes, got our details for social insurance number.

Customs was great as well.... we had everything itemised on our goods to follow list and the customs guys was delighted that we'd done all this beforehand. That whole process took 15 minutes and we were free to go.

all in it was a less stressful time than we had anticipated, and now I'm looking forward to getting all our other bits and pieces together.

I think the moral of this story is do the ground work before you come and make it as straightforward for the guys as you can and they're happy!!!
