Thanks Robert Sorry that your thread has been hijacked! regarding process times, I applied in Jan 05 and my AOR came back saying dont expect to hear from us until 21 months, so prepare yourself for a long haul. I was lucky enough to get a job offer and we go out on a temp work permit, this comes with risks, but in our view worth taking, as it cements you PR application and might be able to be fast tracked via provincial nomination. Hi Grah We are staying with a friend at St James (King Edward St) and I will be working on the NE side (Mcleod Ave), once our house sells in the UK we will be looking for our own place in the NE area, still not sure whether we want to go for a 'Hobby Farm' or nice urban area yet- ours kids welfare will take priority as to what we chose.
