Most container travel "under bond" by the receiving agent in Canada. You can then go to your local custom's office to clear it through when it gets to the agents warehouse, where it will remain bonded until such time that you get it cleared.

Which company are they using in Canada to recieve and deliver your container?

We anticipate selling our house before we even get PR's through.
is it necesary to have an actual delivery address prior to arrival in port?
We will have our goods packed/sent/stored and shipped but have no idea where we will be living in NS just yet.

this is one logistic that has me befuddled :blink:

I'm pretty sure most shippers will accept "TBD" as a delivery address, but you would need to give them at least a destination city before it left their UK storage.
